The Greyhawk is a 1,615 acre, a master-planned neighborhood located north of the Loop 101 Freeway in North Scottsdale. Within the district’s two communities, The Retreat & The Park, residents have entry to several pocket & city parks, picnic areas, playgrounds, & the Grayhawk trail system. there are 2 golf courses, & 2 community associations "the Grayhawk Community Association and the Retreat Village Association", 7 spas, 6 tennis courts, & 7 community swimming pools. Apart from the Pinnacle section of the neighborhood, The neighborhood Park is not gated, & has several picnic ramadas, grassy parks, & playgrounds for kids.

The Grayhawk has 2 golf courses: the Raptor which was designed by Tom Fazio, and has a challenging par-72 Raptor, with a 7, 108-yard course. While The Talon course was designed by David Graham & Gary Panks, has a par of 72 & is 7,000 yards in length.

The Grayhawk clubhouses the Grayhawk Learning Center for Golf Instruction, this enables interested golfers to take lessons to improve their swing. The 40,000 square foot Grayhawk Clubhouse houses three restaurants: The Morning Joint, the Quill Creek Café, & Phil’s Grill. Other facilities include conference rooms, men’s and women’s locker rooms.

- Grayhawk Community Park:

This Community Park, is a 13-acre park modeled by the City of Scottsdale, has 2 baseball fields, 2 sand volleyball courts, 2 soccer fields, 2 basketball courts & 2 tennis courts. The Grayhawk Occupants has easy access to Grayhawk Plaza, two packed shopping areas with grocery stores, Hayden Peak Crossing, restaurants & other convenience shops. There is a casual Italian restaurant (Isabella’s Kitchen,) located directly across from the Grayhawk clubhouse, which offers amazing views of Grayhawk’s golf course. Other amenities of the community include The Scottsdale Healthcare Thompson Peak Hospital, continuing care facility, the Boys & Girls Club.

- Schools At Grayhawk Scottsdale:

Grayhawk Elementary School is a highly valued public school located conveniently within the Grayhawk community. This K-6 school has about 420 students in grades PK & falls within the Paradise Valley School District. Other school-aged kids in the Grayhawk neighborhood attend El Dorado which is a private PreK-8 school, Pinnacle High School & Mountain Trail Middle School.
